Prairie OT provides private Occupational Therapy services to children in Saskatoon and surrounding area.
Therapy can be provided at your child’s home, daycare or school.
In-home therapy is convenient for families and supports a child’s ability to learn and practice new skills in their natural environment.
Occupational Therapy is a health profession that uses meaningful activities, task modification and environmental adaptations to help people participate in daily activities to the best of their abilities.
OTs work together with families and other professionals to identify goals and provide individualized strategies to help support a child's development.
The OT may provide suggestions for activities to help your child develop important motor, sensory, attention, thinking and social interaction skills.
An OT may also suggest ways to help your child be more successful in daily activities such as getting dressed, taking part in mealtimes, playing with toys, interacting with friends and participating at school.
